I'm the very proud of the first 2015 Hobie Adventure Island to land here in Western Australia, an it was definitely worth the wait, I've had her a little over a year now an it is an amazing craft.

I've christened her "Sail-Fish", which I thought was rather appropriate for an AI primarily used for fishing..

This is her custom trailer.

I replaced the carry handles straight away, I used "truck webbing strap" to make these, as you can put your hand through them spreading to load to your rist rather than just your fingers.

I love the extra storage room in the bow, you can get a small child in there comfortably!

Added Harkin blocks to re-route the furling line down the right hand side.
Moved the Reaving cam cleat and Harkin block closer to make "locking off" much easier.
12" Geartrax on either side of the foot well.
Rod leashing line on both sides of the cockpit, nice an simple but allows the rod leashes to move freely.
Custom sounder mount with splash guard and 16,800mAh LiPo battery pack (from my old yak).

16" Geartrax mounted on both rear AKA's with modified Scotty rod holders for trolling and down rigging.

Raised rear deck for my gear bag and external transducer mount, also can can fit my fish bag underneath it.
Ram ball rod holders fitted to both sides of the rear well (purely for additional rod storage).

Loving the gear tracks on the Akas...thinking that might be a nice way to also lock down the Hakas (will experiment)

There's evenly spaced rivets under the Geartracs as well the ones you can see on the side, so it's very strong.
