I am the second owner, for the past 5 years, which have been splendid sailing on our inland lake.
Unique upgrades and features are a custom transom for the 2 HP Honda long shaft outboard, which I only used once to be sure it worked. The original owner worried about not being able to return to shore if the wind died. Never been an issue for me. Also have a setup of 2" PVC piping, connected with ropes, for beach landings, and storing the boat safely.
Hobie upgrades are the hot stick tiller extension, and the EZ Stepper mast raising system. The boat has wings, and the Carnai trailer. New Furler cover recently purchased.
