Boat + options + 2008 Road King RC-18 trailer with title

2004 FX One with clear title. Includes self-tacking Jib, Spin with Snuffer Tube, Carbon Righting Stick, and 2007 Comfort Wings.

Condition: Normal sun/UV complexion and sticker peel. Rock solid boat, nothing needs repair or replacement. The main sail did suffer a leech tear and a new piece of kevlar was sewn in by the local loft. All three sails are the yellow/green color and are in very nice condition. The boat is all OEM parts and set up, the only modification made has been to the daggerboards. They are straight cut bottoms, measuring 43" in length and providing a max draft of 30". This was done for two reasons: minimize finding things to dig a board in at 20 kts, provide more room for crew on the hull and wire. The other benefit is that they are clearly more manageable for smaller crew to handle and also make launching easier. There is no relative change in pointing or lift, nor do we have to sail with the boards half out.

The only upgrade needed is to the snuffer tube. The tube is functional but old style and more difficult to use.

Boat has been used fresh water sailing only since I bought it several years ago. Has been stored under a tent/tarp.

Trailer has cradles. Also includes Mast Stepper III.

Hate to sell it but increased work time is cutting into sailing time.

$4900 definite. Located in Raleigh, NC. Not for those who want parts only. Email jimbo633 at juno.com

It's on a traveler car that swings over on each tack. Basically you set it and don't have to worry about it until you change your point of sail.

I think this one is sold. If you click on this link which appears to be the same boat for sale you will see that it isn't for sale any longer.

Two weeks of flu and too much work at tax time. It's in limbo right now...

For a number of reasons, I am putting this on hold for a while.
