Here's Cindy's last video from our outing yesterday at Key Largo in the Florida Keys. It's almost 10 minutes long and doesn't have a single scene of the yaks, but it was entirely recorded from her Revo by simply drifting next to the mangroves with her hand holding the camera in the water.

The reason I'm posting it in the AI/TI section is because I let her hitch a ride all the way there with the TI:

Now, onto the video:

For what it's worth, the trip back was a much longer distance because she had drifted downwind all day and the breeze had freshened to the point that she couldn't hold on to the TI anymore. We simply tied some line to the front of her Revo and I towed her all the way back to the resort; I figured it would take at least two hours to get back, but it was only 40 minutes before we were docked.

Thanks for sharing this video. Even without yak content, it's great to see some of the fantastic capabilities of exploring beautiful places with these great boats. This looks like a must do trip.

You're quite the nature photographer Cindy. Is that the mangrove island in the SW corner of Sunset Cove.?

You know, Florida has been trying to figure out how to reverse the damage done to Florida Bay by the diversion of the natural flow of the River of Grass (Everglades) into Florida Bay for years. Much money has already been spent trying to un-channel the Kissimmee River, filter the farm run off and open the natural flow of water to the southern portion of the Everglades. I figure that, in about two more generations, they may have made some actual progress. It breaks my heart to imagine the impact of the oil coming through the Keys - it's so fragile and so much on the brink already. I'm not a pessimist though. I think we will all be around to see it turn around - just not in this life cycle:( And, that is as neutral, in terms of politics, religion and philosophy, as I can express that.

Ted .
