I can just see the Hobie Armarda sailing round the Eat Coast now! MAx - when you do the cleat I would love to see the pics as I will do this also. On another post (here I think) I saw someone colour code the front ones as well. I think I will do this as well! |

So are you fitting a cleat at the rear instead of adding the harken wedge to the front cleat? |

Angus, will post pics when fitted. Still waiting for the cleat. BR, yes. There can be quite a bit of force on the cleats in strong winds, so I'd like to operate the furling line using an aft cleat. Probably try running it through a fairlead or two along the gunwhales. However, Kayaking Bob fitted a wedge (and some others), and I think he's happy with that. |
