We went out on our TI for several hours last weekend. The dry suits continue to be worth every penny we paid for them.

Here's the vid:

I very much enjoy your post, I count a few more weeks here in the Carolinas on the AI.

Is it possible you could make it to Tangier Island from Point Look Out in the TI?

Possible - but not likely - as it's a 40 mile round trip voyage with at least 10 miles of that out of eyesight of land each direction. We could do it if the wind and Bay conditions were absolutely perfect, but we wouldn't want something to go wrong so far from either shore. As much as we've talked about it together, neither of us is comfortable enough to try it.

Video has finally been posted, and I edited the original post to reflect that.

We both have the Henri Lloyd Pace dry suit. So far they've functioned exactly as advertised and kept us completely dry in all conditions. Double thumbs-up from both of us!

Mitch, you'd better not refer to Cindy as "ballast"... maybe: "gifted video producer providing strategic righting moments"

The video effects etc are looking good, I esp liked the one at ~2:45 (really drew my focus), and the ending. Cool!

She's a true sailor and refers to anyone on the upwind side as ballast. Besides, it's much better than "rail meat" or "bow bunny"...

whosyerbob, I have wanted to view you and your wife's videos, but when I try, my computer brings them to me quite blurry. It's not only your videos, but some other's as well. Is there a program you know of I could download, which would enhance the viewing pleasure of videos on this forum?
Thank you whosyerbob.

I wish I had an answer for you, but I don't. When I watch them they are clear. Are you on a fast connection? I was thinking it might be due to a slow down link...
