Yeah that's pretty cool, but I don't know who authored it. My own pictures are very low tech.

This Adventure Island has lines running toward the bow and the top of the mast, just like mine does when I'm going to fly my jib. Hmmm...

Wish I had looked closer at the time.

As I looked at all the interesting home-built sailboats on the beach, I could not help thinking that paddling or rowing them would not be fun.

I looked at the AIs that were participating and thought that perhaps it would be fun, if the boats had a bit more room to move about and if they went over waves instead of through them. 300 miles in an AI exceeds my attention span.

I want a different Mirage Drive. One that you pedal from the side, not from in back. Actually, I want two of them. I see a cat ketch like this Core Sound with two Mirage Drive wells and two sideways Mirage Drives.

For most of my life, I did not believe there would be a better way to move a kayak than a good paddle. Ketterman changed that with the Mirage Drive, making the paddle obsolete, an astonishing accomplishment.

We put trolling motors that belong on fishing boats into our kayaks. Why am I the only one who wants to apply the Mirage Drive technology to little sailboats? Am I going to have to do this myself, or is Hobie going to do it? The Bravo Mirage would be supercoool!
