Hello everyone,

I am requesting information/your experience with the mirage mounted torqeedo evolve drive. Things I would like to know:

Your avg range?
Avg speed with motor only(no sailing or pedaling)?
Would you buy an extra battery?
Performance with two people?

I am buying my TI on monday and am definitely considering the evolve. I know some folks think its waaay overpriced, but as I cannot afford to buy a vehicle to haul a boat, the TI with an electric drive fits the bill. Also, I know most of my questions are relative to water conditions and gear packed for the trip, I would like to hear your personal experiences with the system. I will be doing most of my sailing/yakking in the Fort Walton/Destin Florida area. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :D :D :D

I am also interested in the same issue as I plan to buy an electric motor for my TI and hesitate between the Evolve and a more powerfull motor from Torqeedo (the 1003) - more power, more range

I would appreciate feedback from people who used the Evolve on their TI, does it seem enough or there is need for more power?
