Geez mate, I reckon you'd have had a drier ride with the big dude sitting in the back seat

But then I'd be getting wet.
He makes a great sprayshield.
These guys are my workmates and the big dude is my boss, so I didn't mind too much when the odd wave came over the bow! :)

Wow, stringy! Another Oscar-worthy production, only outdone by your stupendous tenor voice! Bravo!

Thanks Roadrunner. It's great to get some recognition for the hard work I've put in to get my voice sounding like Pavarotti. So many vocal exercises and scales. This year I hope to pick up the 'Best Soundtrack gong. '

Ditto Cows.

Terrific stuff mate. Loved it. Great to see some really original AI / TI footage.
Your mates look like they are having a blast.

BTW. That background looks familiar!

They had a great time. 3 of them had never been in an AI/TI before. This was a training run for the Terrigal to Pretty Beach trip we did a week later. I decided to play it safe and only have 2 on the TI.
In the clips you can see Lion Island and Barrenjoey of course. We launched from Patonga and sailed around Lion Island stopping at Flint and Steel Beach for lunch.
A couple of dramas. Two newby AI collisions resulted in two broken aka brace bolts on the day. The first in Patonga was an easy fix. The second crash occurred off the ocean side of Lion Island and one of them had to limp back to F&S Beach with an unbraced leeward ama in 20knot gusts of crosswinds. He made it OK and we fixed it on the beach. They were the first brace bolt breaks since Jason and I collided a couple of years ago and we lost the brace overboard. The brace leashes worked well this time! :)

Thanks Bob.
Your leashes worked great and are a must do mod on all AI's IMHO. :)

Great video and music.

Love the water over the bow on the last few minutes.

Thanks for that Mark. Glad you liked it. My favourite bit as well (it is the boss getting soaked after all!)
