Used to go there all the time in the 80's with my 16. Little spot, called Berkeley Island Park on the map. The park is closed now, due to Sandy but there is a small parking lot on the south side and a nice place to backup to the water. Across the street is Trixies, a little marina store. The spot is excellent, the park has a nice white sand beach which makes for a good visual clue when on the water. Across the bay is Island Beach State Park. Winds there are nice when over 10, you need the power to work through the chop.

Willing to go back any time, would be a blast to do it with a couple boats.
