It was for the jib which wasn't released due to problems with over stressing certain parts.
The stainless hardware on the ama was also part of that kit.

I'm curious about something on the forward edge of the Tandem Island's sail. About 3 or 4 feet from the top, there is a heavy black nylon strap forming a loop or something. I see nothing attached to it. Is it used during sailing or is there an accessory that goes there? |
