Long time lurker, new Hobie TI owner! I'm so pumped, picking it up on Friday. I have been a paddler and part time sailor for years but now that my beard is sporting more and more grey I thought I would treat myself and go first class. Thanks BTW for all the great words of wisdom and advice from all of you. I love forums for sharing information and media. I will be sailing out of Wilmington, NC so if you see someone with a permanent smile attached to his face, that's me! :D

Hobie Island Club gathering and sail on Lake Jordan at the end of the month. If it's not too far for you (1.5 hours?) you might consider coming out and joining us.
