Post subject:  Boating Salmon/Trout into AI

I intend on doing some salmon/trout fishing on Lake Michigan this Sp/Su/Fall.
I'll use the fish rod holders built into the AI, let out line, and commence trolling using the mirage drive (making sure the sail is reefed and secure along with main sail sheet to minimize obstructions). I would imagine once I have a fish on, I would quickly retrieve the rod (I don't know what I'll do if I get a "double header") and reel in the fish. I would imagine it would be best to hold the rod out to port or starboard (depending on which rod is active) while reeling him (I would think it would be wise to use the mirage drive during the fight, though I'd think that a lot of open water would be necessary). While attempting to boat the fish it would probably be wise to bring him in on one side (versus the stern - entanglement with aka) and swing in one of the amas (fish side) to make it easier to net him? Any thoughts and/or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.
