Just got my new AI last Friday and had a few questions.

How do you transport your sail? I was looking for something to provide more protection than just bungeeing the sail in its bag on top of the kayak on the truck rack. Someone suggested 4" PVC pipe. Wanted to see what others were using.

Also how do you lock up your sail? I want to use it as much as possible before the weather gets too cold so I take it to work so I can head straight to the lake after work. I use a lasso lock to lock the kayak to the rack on my truck. Would hate for the sail to walk off.

That sounds like a tough one...

If you go the pvc route, mount it on your rack and secure it with a cable passing through. The end cap on the pvc could be locked with a hasp and padlock.

Good luck, Im sure you will come across better ideas! You sure have me thinking now, I should be locking mine up too.
