I've called around to a few dealers and some said they have 2009 AIs in stock. Anyone know what the new features are? I heard something about the mirage drive and something else about the paddle stowing spot on the side of the boat. Anyone have any descriptive details?

I'm looking to buy a 2009 as soon as my dealer can get a hold of one.

The 2009 has the "click and go" system for the Mirage drive, like the 2008 inflatables have. The drive has threaded pins to hold the fins in instead of a set screw. I don't know about the paddle as mine has not yet been delivered.

Roadrunner has posted a picture of the new fins here:

Thanks to Roadrunner for the images!

I also read on another thread here that in addition to the click'n'go mechanism they changed the mirage drive well, so it doesn't have cam shafts any more...is that true too? Can anyone posts pics and verify the cam shafts are now gone? Maybe somehow show the new mirage drive well compared to the old one with cam shafts?

Oops, just read the link under the second pictures, that gives me all the details I wanted to know about the new mirage drive changes! Thanks
