At rhe risk of sounding like the academy awards. I realy need to that the folowing. First my wife how blew me away with a gift of a AI. Second Greg at Xstreamline in San Pedro Cal. this is the second Hobie kayaak we bought from him ( the first was my wife,s revolution during that sale he let her try various models to get her perfect boat) he walked me through the assemble to allow me to enoy the yak right out the box and Third all of you in thi s forum who I have lived vicariously through for the past couple of years. Your knowledge let me take my second sail today in the AI out of Alamitos Bay in Southern Califorinia and have a blast. it was only 5 to 10 knots but my home made boom ,outhal and boom vang all wworked well. With the boom attached I cold still reef/furl the sail, and the shaped looked alot better than the first time I went out.
