I'm at work all day Saturday. Any time Sunday is OK but remember that there is usually no wind until late morning. |

Ok Stringy. The whole thing doesn't have to revolve around my schedule. I can drop out early and you and Mickey can kick on a bit if you feel like it. The round trip is only about 16km, including circumnavigating Lion Island. What do you think about setting sail at about 11AM? I guess we don't need a lot of wind at first, while getting out through the channel. We could meet a bit earlier for a bit of a chat and to set the boats up. Whatever you guys want is fine with me, but I definitely need to be back at Ettalong by 3 . |

Sounds good to me. How about you Stringy?? If I take your spare AI we could stay out longer. It looks like a good plan to me - including meeting up around 10 - 10.15 am for a chat and orientation etc. Looks like you're planning on the Half Tide Rocks to Barenjoey trip?? Where will we meet & launch from?? Mickey |

Where will we meet & launch from?? Mickey Well Half Tide Rocks (Ettalong) is a good starting point Mickey. Ettalong is right at the mouth of Brisbane Water. If it is too rough to cross the mouth of Broken Bay, we can head into Brisbane Water instead, and, if the worst comes to the worst and there's a typhoon, there's a nice pub overlooking Ettalong Beach. |

Chris, that sounds like a great launching/meeting place Can you give me an exact street address where we'll meet?? Anywhere near the RSL Club??? Mickey |

Better let Stringy nominate that Mickey. Ettalong is more his neck of the woods than mine. I usually launch from the ramp opposite Kourung St, but I'm not sure if that's the same as Half Tide Rocks. |

Hmm - sandy carpark might be a bit tricky on my m/cycle (Goldwing 1800) but hopefully I'll find some firm ground to park nearby. Looks like there's some parallel parking on the side of the road. I'll ride down from Tuggerah and meet you guys there on Sunday morning unless I hear otherwise. I won't be able to check the forums very often once I leave home on Friday. In case anything goes astray, my contact number in Tuggerah is: 02 43532607 I'll leave this number up here until you've had a chance to note it. Look forward to meeting you both and having a great day Mickey |

I'll be there a bit earlier - before 10. My mobile number is 0407463470 if you want to contact me. See you on Sunday if we don't communicate before then. Chris |
