There have been 3 versions. (1) Original Drive had stainless sprockets and an aluminum spine. The drive was changed in many ways with the addition of plastic molded parts to reduce weight and inprove our ability to make them. (2) The 2nd version is primarily identified by the sprocket's mast retention system. Early sprockets used set screws to hold the mast in place. (3) "V2" drives have evolved over the last 2 years. First with V2 drums and new cables / chains. Last summer we added the V2 sprockets and threaded masts. |

Thanks for explaining that Matt, I now have a much clearer understanding. If I have the middle version with the set screw securing the mast, which seems likely. If I wanted to upgrade to the latest setup with the screw in mast, is it a case of simply buying the later sprocketsand fitting them into mine. I am aiming to fit the Turbo ST fins which will come with the longer mast, will I need to buy anything else? |

Just the two new sprockets and the V2 Turbo kit. |
