If I order a TI through a big Boat Show, would I still be able to get it "through my local dealer"? I acknowledge that it's wise to involve the local dealer but would like to take avantage of show discounts.

Some shows are done by multiple dealers, so if this is one of those... sure. But most shows are not "Factory" shows... no way to get a discount offered by one dealer guaranteed as the same at your local place. Worth asking your dealer for a match though.
