Matt,
Does Hobie plan on selling a fabric bow deflector? There have been
quite a few 'home-made' units made up and displayed in this forum.
So I was wondering if Hobie planned to sell a commercially made one?
I sewed up my own, but it is not as well constructed as the Hobie tramps.

As an additional aside...any word from R&D about a rigid bow deflector?
There was a lot of discussion about it about a year ago.

This is a very good proposal. I strongly support it.

There has been no progress on a rigid bow deflector. I also have not gotten engineering attention on the fabric one, but we are headed into our slow (if there is one) time of year where we can try to get things like this moving.

Till then, I have posted the AI pattern on my website here: http://www.kayakingbob.com/sprayskirt
for people that want to make their own.

And my wife Dee does sew and sell the AI & TI sprayskirts in four different colors.

These look great. Looks OEM.

Once I get my new TI, you'll be hearing from me for an order. 8)

Hammer, I bought a set of Dee's spray skirts - they're made as well as they look! Very professional job.
