Pretty big guy, but it may be the wake that's making it appear to be lower than it really is. We'd have to see more...

Your wish is my command, so be very careful what you ask for! ;)

Steve's weight tends to fluctuate between about 280 and 350, much closer to 350 at the moment, I'm afraid... Should have put those little plugs in the cargo well, I guess....

I can confirm, I've had about 350lbs in the boat and it sits about like that for me too :)

Best case for TI Amas I have seen.

Is that your boat he is sinking?

That's a good idea, NOHUHU. He really likes the boat and has considered getting one himself. TI amas would definitely help.

Yes, that is my boat. Nobody told me the red ones are faster, so I let my wife have the red one. Doh!

We did not just overload my boat by putting Steve in it. We also had some brand new sailors on the water, overloading the boats in various ways!

First, Gene took his girlfriend, a non sailor, out to show her how the boat worked, while Bill went out with his 9 year old son in the cargo well for his second ride...

Pretty soon, Gene was in the back and she was sailing for the first time...

Then Bill's son wanted to drive, so they switched off too...

Then Gene sailed w/his girlfriend's daughter, another first, while his newbie girlfriend took her cousin as her first passenger. Her cousin's first ride was a bit earlier...

The winds were strong enough to move the overloaded boats along nicely, and everyone had a great first experience. :D

i rescued a couple of guys who had lost their mast from their upturned catamaran and that put me about 220lbs (100kgs) over the stated weight limit. the AI hung low in the water, so much so that the centre hatch was under water. it was hard going but there wasn't too much water in the hull afterwards...
