You might enjoy checking out this segment of "Made in America" where they visit the Hobie factory in Oceanside.

Real cheezy script, but it's chock full of cool footage of the factory floor and workers. You'll get to see the rotomolding ovens and sailcutting machines in action.

It's a couple years old but gives a nice historical perspective on the company, its products and employees.

Have to say, it's rewarding to see a market leader still making products in the US, when so much hull business goes to cheaper Asian factories these days.

Looks good. With the increased popularity of Hobie Kayaks, I think they might need to invest more on those ovens to increase production. 8)

Cool! I saw it with my own eyes. Cliff from Cheers' wrapped my kayak in plastic at the end of the clip. Now I'll have something to brag about to my friends!
