I got mine last wednesday fellas, I 'm on the Sunshine Coast Queensland AUS.
Does not seem much bigger in size but everyone else so far says it's the goods.
I will fit it on the weekend (I know I'm slow).]

Good to hear! 8)
Did the postman bring them or were they delivered via a freight company?

I took off my old rudder last tuesday night as it was a bit loose and about to fall off soon anyway.
My mummy said I should put it under my pillow that night.
Sure enough the next morning I got my upgrade!

I think mine came AUS post in a double shoe box size package.
I think they send them out in order of if you have been naughty or nice, a bit like Santa.
I'm obviously the the most tops fella, and the rest of you well.......

maybe I should try the 'rudder fairy' approach because if I rely on the naughty or nice equation I could be waiting til next year!!

Be sure to get in touch with your dealers. If your boat was not registered with Hobie Australasia warranty... the kit would likely be sent to the dealer. If not, they can arrange to get it for you.

Nothing arrived here in Eastern Victoria yet though my dealer Alpine Country emailed me last week giving me a heads-up that Hobie had just been in contact with them and confirmed my details. Thanks Richard at Alpine Country, I am confident mine is not far off now....Pirate

Only fits 2011 and newer AI. The transom is different.

There is nothing wrong with the smaller rudder on an AI. Works fine.

Agreed! Never had a problem with my 2009 AI!
Never even broke a pin!
Used it in quite demanding weather conditions - including 2 memorable off-shore coastal adventures.
I have never felt as confident with my 2011 rudders and am patiently waiting for the much-needed rudder upgrade to restore my confidence in them.

true, not having any issues, complaint's or anything, just seeing and upgrade/fix/something different made me wonder if it would work on the older ones too.. i like the lift vs the twist

Nothing in Melb yet. I would be great if it came within the next 2 weeks. Would love to be out with my TI with the new rudder :P
