Congratulations on your new Tandem Island! I made the same decision as you did and passed up on the 2011 TI that was sitting out in the brutal Maui sunshine. I ended up buying a new 2012 ivory dune TI from Windward boats on Oahu last month. Lets meet up sometime and do some sailing.  Merry Christmas Mike |

Could somebody please clarify. How long has the 2012 been available? Are we looking at the 2013 release soon.. In other words was the 2012 available in 2011 and will the 2013 be available in 2012? I'm confused on what model year to buy if I want the latest and greatest. |

Always in the Fall, each year. They're announced at the trade show (I forget it's name) then the new (or updated) products hit the stores as supplies become available and orders are placed. Some minor model changes can happen quietly anytime during the year. So, the 2012 are here but the 2013 won't show till after next summer. |

Something else new on the 2012's no one has mentioned, and is on my new '12as well. i have been recently seeing these show up on pro anglers too: reinforced Scuppers...
