First time I had tried using it with the AI... it made it 20 feet.

The T joints where the crossbar attaches.. you know the most critical part of the entire damn thing... PLASTIC!

I REALLY needed it for my trip tomorrow...

Its ok, I have tools!

I cannibalized the broken pitiful wreck. Removed crappy cross bar and plastic joints, and replaced them with a 15" 2x6, to keep everything straight I drilled a 1/4 hole longways down the center of the entire thing, through the uprights. and pounded in a nice sexy 1/4' solid steel rod. Capped the holes with goop, and added carpet.

Desperation is the mother of invention.

Nice quick fix. If you add some tennis balls over the posts it'll help support the hull under the scupper holes and prevent your hull from denting. Just make sure the cart posts can still pass all the way through the hull.
