The head of the bolt came out of the plastic and now just spins when trying to tighten the peg. Do I pry the plastic apart to get the head to go back in? Other suggestions?
Thanks,

Not 100% sure what you've got going on, so a picture would help - better yet, just take the part to your nearest dealer and have them help you out direct...that's their job - they'd be more than happy to aid you.

Here are 2 photos showing the bolt head up out of the plastic peg. The one on the left is the problem. It won't slide back down into the socket and thus just spins when you try to tighten it. In my first post, I asked about prying apart the head to get the bolt back in, but the more I looked at it after posting showed me that it doesn't come apart or open up to grab the bold head, like I first thought.
Any suggestions as to how to fix it, or do I need to get a new peg from Hobie? Took it to my dealer in Raleigh, NC , and they didn't have any older seats to exchange or spare parts to fix it with.

Not sure why in preview it shows a question mark for the photos, so I will put the URLs in too, and maybe someone can tell me how to fix the img post too!
