Post subject:  Hang sail horizontal to ground from eaves of house?

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is considered ok to hang the TI sail in t's Hobie bag Horizontally (parallel to the ground) under the eaves of my house.

I have four eye hooks, each with a loop of nylon rope. I then slide the sail in it's bag into the loops. I'm asking the question because with only two eye hook & loop combinations (1 at each end), the sail appears to be "bowing."

What is Hobie's suggested and approved storage method?

Thanks!

it would be better to spread the load equally - if you only have 2 hangers - have the sail and mast straddle those - having the hanging point at either end will leave a long unsupported spam that could bow - of course, I'm not sure that any damage would be done either way - the mast can bent way more than that while sailing, and there should be no issue either way.

I store my sail in my lanai, hanging from the ends. Best method I could come up with to ensure the sail dried after each use.

No issues so far...
