I just saw a Hobie ad for the 'new' Vantage' seat.
I never did like my inflatable seat...too much of a compromise...too recombent.
Matt...could the Vantage seat be adapted to fit the TI? Expandable rear plugs to secure the seat?

Not really - the Vantage seat is wider than a TI hull so it doesn't fit. also there needs to be mounting points and structure built into the deck to support the seat - it isn't as simple as you might think. Maybe when you see a seat and try and put it on a TI you'll more clearly see the issues with this request.

We don't have plans to adapt the Vantage chair to any other products at this time.

We don't make comments on future product or changes to existing product lines - sorry...it's a company policy.

If you are looking for changes the wait for the 2013 model year isn't much longer - we will show all the new stuff beginning in Aug.

With the way Hobie stepped it up on the PA 14, I can't wait to see what you have done on your other models :!:

What ever changes you do make, I am still glad I went ahead and got the PA 14. It's a killer fishing machine :!:
