On the fore and aft of both Amas, there are screw in pad eye loops. Before I assume these are just there for the heck of it, and whatever you might dream up that requires them, is it possible that they are there for a specific task? Just hate to be missing out on something. |

Hobie intended to have a jib and they were the anchor points for it. that's what the nylon loop halfway up the sail is for also. the jib is still considered underdevelopment, but it's been so long I have doubts if they will bring it to market. |

On a each side of the aka's, there is an extra bolt / head, just higher than the normal one for attaching the ama. Does anyone know what it's for? |

That's to attach the long bungee that runs down each side of the actual hull. It keeps the Amas pulled in tight to the hull when they're not deployed. |

There is a bungee underneath the rear aka, which attaches to the "eyelet post" in the middle of the rear seat's mesh pocket, to keep the amas in when travelling. There are horizontal bungees on each side of the TI hull which are designed to secure the paddles. |
