What a tough life! Hmm, what can't you do in a Hobie! Thanks for sharing your story with us, it gives us inspiration of what to do next.

Terrific pictures, Steve. Very nice and a great shot of the birds.

NOHUHU--yes, we are mountain challenged in FL, especially in south FL. Don't think that is going to change soon. Difficulties? Winter weather has not happened yet. It is still warm and that means noseeums on the beaches in the morning and evening. Also, of the 3 sections of Cape Sable (the SW corner of FL), Northwest Cape, Middle Cape, and East Cape, Middle Cape is by far the busiest and frequented by power boat campers. Steve's pictures nicely avoid the other campers on MidCape. We were comfortably tucked away on the at one end; the stink boaters at the other. Steve's pictures pretty much show it like it was.

Post subject:  Photos fully loaded?

Do you have any photos of what the TI looks like when fully loaded? Are you careful about balancing the load? How do you strap everything down?
How does the TI handle when fully loaded?

Love the pics... To answer Tidalwave, we have not yet gone on a 3 day trip, but I still pack like I'm gonna. We bring a cooler and sunscreen and dry bags and chairs (depending on destination). If we have good wind and don't need the drives, I put them in a large mesh bag and secure them on the tramps with a bungee. One item I can't live without is a yellow mesh bag made for kayaks, but all-purpose as well. http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp?pfid=2883. I got one for each tramp. I removed the plastic shaper inside and I throw in anything I want. It has hooks on all sides, so I just secure it to the short bungees on the front of the tramps... of course it's mesh and all will get wet, but I store sunscreen and Crocs in there... or gloves... or whatever. It's a great storage addition and is not going overboard.
