The SOS/Tracking/2-way communication device is said to have true pole-to-pole coverage via the iridium satellite network. It integrates text messaging with your smartphone or Delorme GPS and can update your Facebook. etc tracking site.

Amen to that. The spot plans are pretty onerous too.

But the device pricing is not bad at all. Probably worth it, if your daughter doesn't try to update her facebook page every 10 minutes. $$$

Kelly should have one implanted. ;-)
