Palacios and POC are regular stops for me too. I'll let you guys know when I head out to these spots in case you want to join in. Windshark it"s great to know that we can rent an AI out of POC. I'll take advantage of that when sailing with my son.

Coughton54 I see you signed onto adventureislanders.com. I go by offshoreweekends on that site and if you watch the trip planning section of the forum I let others know when and where I am heading out. site is temporarily down but it'll be back.

Hi all! Just stumbled upon this thread and couldn't help but introduce myself. I am on the verge of purchasing a tandem island and would be sailing the Texas coast as frequently as I can. I currently have family in Palacios, TX. Port O'Connor is a definite must with the ti. My brother and I are planning a trip to Matagorda Island next spring/summer. Anywho, pretty cool thread and look forward to the plethora of fun soon to come!
