G'day Matt
Haven't chirped in before because I was unable to watch your video on my iPad and was away from home all last week.
Now that I have watched it I must congratulate you on both doing the trip and the excellent video, complete with commentary - and as an extra, I think I saw a mermaid on the island
The gang down here love cruising the Gippsland Lakes and try and get out on camping trips a few times each year. We are hoping to do our annual Sale to Lakes Entrance 100 km (approx) trip in the next few weeks.
However, we have been talking about exploring further afield and Philip island is one of the destinations we have been contemplating. So your video is a very nice teaser
I think we would try and break it up into a minimum of two day camping trip.
I am told there are spectacular cliffs and caves......
Do you live somewhere nearby?? It would be great to have you join us on such a trip. Likewise, we would be only too pleased to show you our backyard - if you're nor already familiar with what it has to offer. (Haven't seen any mermaids here yet
)
Cheers
Mickey...if you and your buddies ever want to do this I will be happy to act as ground crew and discuss strategies. Spreading the trip over two days is a lot more sensible than squeezing it into 10 hrs!
