http://boatpropellers.iboats.com/Tohats ... (All_Years)_Propellers/659/?cart_id=024317815 ). I think the Solas plastic prop was around $15 bucks. They are cheap enough, just buy both, and try them out, then use the other as a spare.
This prop will come with a 12mm shaft hole, and for some reason the Island Hopper has a 1/2 inch prop shaft, I just used a 1/2" reamer and reamed the hole out to make it work (wasn't hard to do, just make sure to keep the hole straight).
The propeller type is called a standard pin type prop, same exact prop is used on most small gas motors (Tohatsu, Nissan, Merc, etc). Due to there being no creativity whatsoever in the small outboard industry.
Like I said I ordered a 7 inch pitch and put it on, the problem I now have is the 2 hp motor itself can no longer get to full RPM (not enough horsepower) to drive that high pitch prop at full RPM.
With the throttle locked my fully load TI goes around 5-6 mph (the throttle is not at full) with the 7 inch prop. The 7 inch pitch prop was on the motor when this video was shot on the forum thread Motor Sailing the TI (
