Will be too long I believe. Older AI crossbars are spaced further apart. The 2015 and all TIs are the same.

Aha thanks, as I am selling my old AI and the buyer wants Tramps this is important.

It does bring confusion as the local dealer told me that they would fit and another Forum member has posted that they will fit, yet you are the Hobie rep so I still don't really know..

So is that the hard truth or you're belief, or does anyone else know for sure?

We made too sizes (lengths). One for the Older AI and another for the TI... plus now 2015 AI.

The difference is the spacing between the akas. Older AIs have a wider spacing.

The TI spacing is closer together. The new 2015 AI is now the same spacing as the TI.

The old AI version "could fit" either boat, but the gap for the straps at the back will not allow proper tensioning if using the older AI version on a newer AI or TI.

OK Thanks that settles it, if you have made new ones that fit the 2015 AI then the old ones would not be optimal.

To be clear... the new 2015 AI has the same crossbar spacing as the TI, so not "New" tramps... just that the 2015 uses the same ones that we designed and had been selling for the TI.
