We just got back from a Celebrity Cruise which included a stop in San Francisco at pier 35 near the finish line September 15 and 16 and saw two races that Sunday where each team won a race. On the cruise were sailing enthusiasts from whom I learned that moths were not the only small foiling sailboats. See the Little America's Cup this week in the UK with the French team Groupama's class C foiling cat with wing sail. Also recently developed is a foil kit for the laser. See video below for examples of each foiling.

On the second day, Sept 16, there was a Tandem Island-like kite powered foiling boat flying across the San Fran Bay doing foiling jibes. See link for videos shot that day at http://project.kiteboat.com/news/
