I have a set of hakas that I built. One question, where do you carry your hakas while transporting you TI ? I usually carry mine in my truck, but fixing to go to smaller suv type vehicle. The suv doesn't have a roof rack, so that is not an option. I wouldn't like to to stick them in the suv. An idea that I had was to mount them on the TI trailer. Has anyone done this before.

At times I strap them down on top of the hull to the trailer.

Same as KB, just lay them on top of one another in the hull cockpit and use bungee cords to secure them.

Same here - I just strapped them on top of the kayak on the trailer.

I was thinking about mounting them on each side of the trailer where I can some how pull them out and have then fully rigged. I think this would cut down my set up time while launching.

Here's the trailer set up. Was thinking of placing them on each side of the trailer just above the fenders wells.

To me, that seems like too much work. I would just lay one of your seat backs down, lay the hakas on top of each other in the cockpit, fasten down with a 2-3 bungees. Very simple.

But, of course, it is your boat and hakas. I'm done with this thread.

We carry 4 large Haka inside the SUV with the seats up. Bungee them well at each end.
