Well all good things must come to an end! I am moving back to Seattle WA from sunny and warm Anna Maria Island, FL. Many thanks for the help from all the locals around Sarasota. I looked into moving it back but it is sooo expensive, so I will sell my 2009-10 very cared for (red) AI. If anyone local knows someone who is interested, please contact me. I would rather it go to someone in this Hobie community. Tramps, fat wheeled cart, turbo fins, and lots of extras included!

Thanks and happy sailing-fishing!

Luto--join us at North West Kayak Anglers, buy a used AI and a drysuit and you're good to go!

Sorry we never met up, Luto. I live part-time on AMI and have been fishing out of my Adventure down there for years. Just bought a new AI. I'll check around with a couple of friends to see if they are interested in buying yours.

Hi Terry,

Thanks. BTW: I heard the sand dredge area is crawling with bait. I think I am going to fish there next week. I heard some doing good and that last Thursday it was empty.

For those who are not here, they dredge the bay for sand to put on the beach. As a result, the smooth flat bottom that is normally 20 feet deep, has a 30 foot deep section and the Tarpon and KingFish are rumored to be collecting there, sometimes.

I am not going to ask much, for it, say 1850. It has the tramps with upgraded SSteel clamps and custom red 1" web straps. Two sets of Turbo fins and a near perfect drive. I also have a bait well system setup. Also two sets of wheels, the big one with big wheels and another set with the smaller wheels. Also I upgraded the AMA bungees to doubles. It has some cool 3M red reflective tape and some rod holders, ram mount points and a bunch of spare parts. Also I setup a really nice seat 180.00, with a setup for under seat leader dispenser.

T2, I think I will stick with my 17' runabout. I know total sellout, but I don't have the funds to but another one yet!

Cheers!

Wow! That seems cheap by almost $1000. Should sell quickly when you are ready to sell. You sure you don't just want to car-top it to your new address?

Yep it is cheap, but think of it as trickle down. Or the law of giving..... right Bra.....
Hopefully some one from this board will want it. That would make it a good thing.

LOL car topping it from FL to WA is a bit much. Although when I took it about 150 miles in WA it did really well on top of my Xterra.

That is a good price on the AI.

I am in AI for two weeks each month and left last Wed. I didn't notice that the sand barge was set up yet. But I have heard great reports about the Kings 3/4 miles of the beaches again, along with the tarpon. I will be heading down there in a week. LOVE kayak fishing for kings as long as I don't get knocked out of the kayak again by a flying Eagle Ray!
