The topic "Re: Hobie Islands - Rules and limitations", had 3 replies, but it seems that the originator has deleted their opening post, which removed the thread.

Can someone please confirm that this is normal for the forum software?

Not normal. After it's read/replied, you can't do this without moderators help.

But they can do it without yours.

Walked slap into that one didn't I!

Actually, as the thread is not visible, I have no reason to believe that the originator pulled the pin.. He might be as confused as I am. His post was asking whether the CE category "D" for Islands was reasonable (max wind Beaufort category 4, wave height 0.3 metres)

Dear all,
I just edit the post in order to correct the grammar, and I received a reply saying that it has to be approved again.
I suppose it will be resumed as soon as the moderator will check it again.
Sorry for that, but I didn't realize that even a simple grammar correction has to approved by moderator.

Let's wait for the resume and I will reply to your comments

Regards

the problem posed is:

in europe island by law can not navigate in the open sea near the coast also .... but only in small bays with air max 30cm ..... but in Europe it is difficult to find small bays or lagoons ... in fact in Italy there is no such marine geography.
but this has never been said by Hobie Europe.
we are left with island illegal for European laws

It's back again Tony.
PS why aren't you out sailing?
Is that shower or two forecast enough to dampen the spirit? :(
