Awesome trips Ozzy!! When going out on your TI in Bohol you surely get many "envy looks" from the tourist divers who pass by on their loud and stinky bancas :D (that's at least what I get when I sail by the dive boats in Subic with a cold beer in my hand).

Peace
Serbi

looks fun.

i can wave at a boat full of like 20 japanese tourist divers and i might get 1 wave back if any and a bunch of strange looks... like they are seeing a chinese warship roll past or something...

That is a real bummer Rusty, on my local lake, the ones who DON'T wave are few and far between, usually mistlky the guys zapping round in work boats from the oyster farms.

yeah ^ ^ ^ i'm getting used to the non-waving style of the japanese though, but it still feels weird cuz where i come from boaters wave or give each other the nod or something. just feels all mean and grumpy like to me... :D

but two things here, not to go all out on a tangent. japan is not a waving culture for one, they just never have been. second, there is little to no pleasure boating here at all. the locals here with boats are fisherman by trade and it seems to blow their minds when they see me having fun and not making a living on my TI.

so combine the non pleasure boating culture with a non waving culture and you get what we have here...
