Does anybody know how long time it will take to get a replacement kayak.
Got 2 shipping damaged TI´s the 8. of sep. One was extreme dented ( But we were able to fix the dents with hot water and pressure)
The other one is extreme dented - offbeat and damaged by lifting forks :( Really sad.

Iam told shipping is covering the damage.
Iam told that i have to wait for Hobie Europe (Nederland) is ordering new kayaks from the US and my replacement Hull can by on that shipment.

I totally understand that it takes time to get a replacemet from the US.
But i dont understand that i have to wait for Hobie Europe to order other kayaks before i can get what i paid for :(

Does anybody have experience on this matter and can give me a hint on when i can expect my kayak hull ??

And on a sidenote... Plasticwrapping on a Tandem Island and shipping around the world... Iam in chock :o

Hope to get on the water soon !

They need to ship together in a container. Shipping one alone... LCL... is prone to damage as you have experienced already.

Responded... keep in contact with your local dealer for updates. I am not involved in sales or shipping issues.
