I happen to not be able to see it in the side mirrors either.

Stick these at the back corners of the trailer.

Hm, those sticks might work for me - I can't see my trailer in my mirrors either - but I'd have to come up with a different attachment method. My trailer's aluminum!

I use a small pickup right now, so can see the TI on the trailer when launching but have to put the tailgate down to see the empty trailer when retrieving. Planning on switching to a van next year so I'll have to come up with something by then...

Those front bumper hitches are popular with truck camper and travel trailer folks for bicycle racks, storage bins and generator storage.
I'm pretty good a backing a trailer but often move my tandem axle utility trailer around with a ball on the bucket of a skid loader. Facing the trailer while backing makes a lot of difference in what I can do quickly if working alone.

My TI trailer is pretty heavy but I often use one of those Harbor Freight trailer dollies to put it in the garage since the garage is only about 1 1/2 Ft longer than the trailer + TI. I wouldn't try using the dolly on a boat ramp with my trailer but maybe with a light aluminum trailer if the boat ramp isn't too steep.
Or just launch with the cart ?

Those tennis ball hitch aligners are usually cheaper at harbor freight. I bought a pair and never use them. Others have used electric fence supports from Tractor Supply for guides on the back of their trailer.

I'm thinking if I flop the third row down and open the rear hatch I might get a good view. My other option, like I've mentioned before, is to just get used to the rear view camera.

Had a second outing today. Much better! Still learning some things but had a great time. I will post some pictures and a short video later.

Opening the hatch and flipping down the third row worked like a charm.

Here's a short video of me and my son. I took both kids out but I only got video of me and my son. It was a little gusty 10-20. We had a great time and got really wet!
I gave my son some time on the pedals and the tiller. We were on a downwind run so I figured it was safe enough to film.

A couple of pics in the driveway before heading out.

This is the Cat beach at one of my local lakes.

I found it was much easier to load and unload passengers from a beach versus a boat ramp. I was then able to wade out about waist deep and hop up onto the tramp.

We also got to rescue a couple that flipped their canoe. I just happened to look over and saw a couple of people floating in the water. My daughter and I grabbed our life jackets and headed out for them. We were able to pull the female onto the tramp while another boat help her significant other get the canoe back to shore. We offered to take her out for a sail but she kindly declined

I added a couple of guide posts made from 1 inch PVC pipe to my trailer. I attached PVC to the bottom with elbows at the ends to support the vertical guide posts, I went a little overboard (no pun intended) and added a "T" a little way up on each side to accommodate some extra attachment to the trailer. I made the guide posts long enough to be seen in the rear view mirror. The assembly is painted black with yellow caps. The guide posts also help center the boat when retrieving - amas in of course. Whole setup cost less than $15.00. Another possibility is a set of bicycle safety flags attached to the trailer.
