I just picked my new TI last week and I'm trying to figure out how to store it on a lift or rack on the water. The depth by our dock is a few inches to about 5 feet. Nice sandy lake bottom. I understand a traditional Hobie Cat rack is not an option. I have seen a lot of great ideas on this site but unfortunately I have not seen much regarding a lift or rack. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

You could use a standard PWC rack and modify it with PVC to make bunks or fit the Hobie cradles.

I hope you are aware that Hobie do not recommend leaving their kayaks out in the sun on a permanent basis, and are including some sort of cover for your new TI.

I bought the Hobie TI cover. It is a very impressive cover if anyone was wondering. I have spent much more on covers for other boats and they were nowhere near the quality of the Hobie cover.
