Has anybody tried a Tandem Island mast/sail on an Adventure Island?

Given a light-to-moderate air venue, the roller-reefing feature, and the negligible weight of 18" more carbon fiber it would seem like a no-brainer.

What am I missing?

Um, the extra length of the TI sail would I think need thre turning block to be well behind the AI rudder in order to maintain the correct shape for efficiency.

As Tony said you do need to relocate the mainsheet block padeye aft. Probably not ideal close hauled but on all other points of sail it works well.
