Hello,

What size is the screw that would correspond to https://www.westcoastsailing.net/defaul ... AlAO8P8HAQ

Hobie did not include all the parts in my Spinnaker kit so I am attempting to source the missing pieces since they declined my request for these parts from them directly.

I know I need a stainless steel (prevent corrosion of dissimilar metals), self drilling/tapping, screw...

What length, thread, size etc does Hobie USA use to secure the part linked above? These are missing from my Spinnaker kit and I'm attempting to resolve it quickly, since there is not much support from Hobie USA on the Hobie Adventure Island Spinnaker Kit product.

Soooo, since many other people will likely have the same missing parts I am going to go ahead and purchase them. I'm sure the missing parts will come from Hobie eventually and they will be of great use to someone else on the forums in the near future.

The support on the product is rather limited. I am still attempting to determine the size of the screws used for these eyelet posts. I can buy the posts here https://www.westcoastsailing.net/defaul ... AlAO8P8HAQ. That still leaves me needing the right screws to fasten them.

If I can not find this information I will just be using a 1" length stainless steel course thread screw from Home Depot in whatever diameter fits. Does this sound like a good solution?

Sorry to hear the kit is missing parts. Your dealer would be the one to supply replacement parts... did you contact them? They would call our warranty staff. If you tried to call our parts department direct, I totally understand the re-direct. I understand that my staff has shipped parts to you last week, so all is handled correct?

We never know if the dealer has misplaced the parts or what may have been the issue. Maybe tucked under a box flap or simply misplaced. It is logical to contact the dealer from whom you purchased the parts as the first contact. You wouldn't call Ford or Toyota motor companies directly... you would call the dealer. Same here. We are a manufacturer.
