Join me and my furry friends on a sailing adventure to the Islamorada Sandbar!

In this fun video, you’ll see how I sail with my pet West Highland Terrier dogs to the Islamorada Sandbar, a shallow stretch of white sand in the Atlantic Ocean off the Florida Keys. The Islamorada Sandbar is a popular spot for boaters to enjoy the crystal clear water and relax or party on the sand. You’ll also see some amazing aerial views of the sandbar and the surrounding seagrass beds.

I use a Hobie Tandem Island Sailing Kayak, which is a versatile and fast boat that can handle the shallow waters of the Florida Keys. The video is a compilation of several sailing trips that I made from Plantation Key to the sandbar, crossing the Snake Creek into the ocean. The round trip was about 15 miles in distance.
