I'm in the process of putting a mesh deck on one side of my A. I. It will be between the hull, the ama and the braces. The purpose of this is to use it as a place to lay items while I'm bottom fishing. I'm using 2 mm mesh. Does anyone think this might cause a problem with the wind trying to lift the A. I. out of the water on the windward side. I am hoping that since I am just using mash the air will blow through the material. :?:

This guy has put a spray shield on his AI... And he hasn't mentioned anything about being blown over due to the install of a solid (not mesh) plastic spray shield.

I wouldn't think the mesh in the wind would be an issue... I would be more concerned with what you are putting in it an making it sag to were it would be a cause of drag in the water....
