1. Why was the Adventure Island discontinued in 2021, just after many improvements had been made? See lists at https://www.cornwall-canoes.co.uk/hobie ... island.htm and https://newenglandboating.com/hobie-red ... ng-kayaks/ including Mirage 180, Vantage CT seats, deeper hulls, cockpits moved aft, 2 pc carbon masts, reverse angle bows, etc. 2. How many of the 2021 Adventure Island models were produced? 3. Does Hobie have any plans to resume production of Adventure Islands? |

It would be really nice if Hobie would clearly state whether or not they are likely to bring the AI back or not.. I personally would very much like to buy a brand-new AI if it was an option.. I'm forced to buy one used and these years are really hard to find. HOBIE -- please give us some guidance/advice since only you know what your company plans are. I know this is an old thread so it seems unlikely anyone will respond, but if they do I would also like the answer to these questions. Thanks for reading |

According to matt miller reply of 22 feb 2024: He understoot that the AI might return after the mexican plant is ready (So that will take some time, don’t expect iit to soon) I am in the same position as you, my AI is due to be replaced and for me the TI is no option (To heavy, can’t get it on the trailer, the AI is just light enough) Peter |
