Just got home from picking up my 2013 Oasis and noticed there is a minor dent about 10" aft of the rear miragedrive opening. I realize the world isn't a perfect place, but is this a common issue or should I contact my dealer?

Dents are common in roto-molded kayaks, but luckily it's a very simple fix. In the case of your dent (without seeing it) I would guess that just leaving it alone with the kayak resting upside-down in the sun it would probably come out on its own on a nice hot day.
If you need to work at it a little bit more - that is also a fairly easy fix - here's a video we put together showing our factory technique

Thanks for your input. The dent is very minimal, but bugs because it's a new boat and hasn't even been in the water. I looked at the video and it eased my mind about the dent being permanent. I'll try the "sun bake" fix before trying the "scalding water" fix.
