Matt, (or anyone else who can give me an accurate answer) As stated in another topic I have an AI and soon will have a TI also. I want to car top them together so I need to know their weight, but not the fully rigged weight. I need to know what the hulls, amas and sails weigh, nothing else as they are the only things that will go on the roof rack everything else will be carried in the vehicle. Any ideas? I can't find anthing in my Hobie literature or on the website. Thanks Jan |

My estimates for the hull are: AI = 80# TI = 120# The other parts don't add much, except maybe the TI ama. What you keep in or on the hulls may add more. |

The site has a pretty detailed list of weights now... TI MirageDrive® Weight x 2: 6.6 lbs / 3 kg Hull Weight: 89 lbs / 40.4 kg Ama Weight: 22 lbs / 10 kg ** Hull Weight, Assembled: 115 lbs / 52.16 kg ** Rigged Weight: 192 lbs / 87.1 kg |
